Petty Adventures: May 2011

Last week, Clarissa (Anthon's cousin 2nd grade) and her husband Zach came to visit us and the city. It was great to walk around in the city during the day and not being so alone in our small apartment while Anthon is at work.
I really love spending time with Clarissa and Zach- they're always in a good mood and they're just fun to be around.

After going to the Las Vegas temple in the morning, we went to a restaurant called Hash House a go go. Zach and Clarissa had watched food vs man in Las Vegas and told me about this place and decided to go there. Here is the video:

We ordered fried chicken with bacon waffles, mac&cheese and a large coconut-mango pancake. Delicious!

After that, Clarissa and Zach went up the Stratosphere to go on two rides. Since Anthon was at work and couldn't come with us, I didn't go up with them and walked along the Las Vegas Boulevard.
They went on two roller coaster things on top of this tower hotel.I had to steal these pictures..

Even though everything is just fake here and a copy of some original, I love the hotels' architecture and statues here. I sometimes feel a little bit like traveling around the world in just 6 hours...

At the Bellagio. I think the Bellagio is my favorite hotel so far.

I LOVE this fountain. I could watch it hours long and not get bored. I'm so amazed of what you can do with a fountain.

After walking around for a while in this hot weather, Clarissa and Zach gave a try to the 16 coke flavors from around the world. It was interesting to see that we have very similar tastes...

But Anthon and I were not as good as expressing our emotions about some of the flavors as Zach and Clarissa were. Hilarious!
I think in these pictures, Zachn and Clarissa tried the Italian "Beverly". Gross!

When Anthon was done with work, we all had dinner together. Zach and Clarissa were so kind to treat us to dinner as a thank you. We went to a place called "I love Sushi" and it's a really cool place! We highly recommend it!
